Company tracking, incident-to-hospital patient tracking, and NIMS reporting highlight latest product release
interTRAX Suite v.3.5 saves time and money; increases safety and security

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Aug. 8, 2011 - The ability to quickly and easily create, track and report on a company or unit before, during or after an incident is just one of the innovations that comprise Salamander Technologies' newly released interTRAX® Suite v.3.5. Some of the newest capabilities of this feature-rich family of solutions include:

Company/Unit Tracking
This game-changing enhancement allows incident commanders the time-saving ability to pre-populate a barcoded ID tag or RFID smart card with information on an entire company - including all of the responders, equipment and qualifications associated with that company - and then track and report on the unit as a single resource.
• Create credentials pre-incident detailing member, member's role, organization affiliation, NIMS typing, seat position, and company qualifications.
• Create company objects 'on the fly' during an incident by scanning existing company tags or a state driver's license to check a person or organization into an incident.
• Generate activity reports post-incident that communicate total time on scene for an individual or organization.

Incident-to Hospital Patient Tracking
Salamander Technologies and Versus Technology, Inc. have integrated their technologies to create a seamless data collection-and-transfer process that can gather patient information at the site of an incident and push it to clinicians prior to hospital arrival. This integration takes advantage of Salamander's electronic tagging and tracking capabilities that occur in a dynamic field environment, and Versus' real-time locating system (RTLS) expertise within the confines of a medical complex.
